Filtering and Search

Learn how to use filtering and search features in Release Pilot.

Customer Sites Filtering

Available Filters

Filter customer sites by:

  • Customer Name: Search by customer name
  • Country: Filter by country
  • Site ID: Search by site identifier
  • Point of Contact: Filter by contact person
  • Customer Type: Filter by Premium, Normal, or Free Tier

Using Filters

  1. Click "Show Filters" to expand the filter panel
  2. Enter values in the filter fields
  3. Filters apply automatically as you type
  4. Click "Clear All" to reset all filters

Active Filter Indicators

When filters are active:

  • Filter chips appear below the filter panel
  • Click a chip to remove that specific filter
  • The "Clear All" button is visible

Releases Filtering

Available Filters

Filter releases by:

  • Release Name: Search by release name
  • Product Name: Filter by product
  • Version: Search by version number
  • Status: Filter by release status

Filter Behavior

  • Filters work in real-time
  • Multiple filters can be combined
  • Pagination resets when filters change

Search Tips

  • Use partial matches for text searches
  • Filters are case-insensitive
  • Empty filters are ignored
  • Clear filters to see all results

Best Practices

  • Use specific filters to narrow results quickly
  • Combine multiple filters for precise searches
  • Clear filters when switching contexts
  • Use the list view for filtered results
